2015 was our first year and it was a year to see what will work and what will not work. We all learned a lot and I hope you all had some fun along the way.
A lot of things are going to change in 2016. I have always stated that I am going to be running semi-professional competitive league and it’s going to show in 2016. We are moving to a closed league format. Here are some of the highlights. So get planning and ask your loved ones to get you quad equipment.

We will only be accepting a max of 16 individuals.
The league will accept additional people during practice and races. There will be a registration fee for flying. They are eligible for race day only prizes.
Registration fee is expected to be somewhere between $15.00 to $25.00, not including transponder fees
Pre-season starts in March, warm up month, get all your shit together and get use to the league setup.

Official start is April to August (5 months) - a total of 10 races provided that the weather cooperators
Each month we will be 2 practice days and 2 race days

If more than 16 people signup, we will do a playoff and the top 16 racers will be selected. People that do not make the cut can still race but they will not be eligible for the season ending prize.
Each individual is require to have 2 race ready quads. You don’t need two super tuned quads but you want a backup. Completing the day in last place will still be better than being out.
Your will be assigned a race band and you will be using the leagues ground station when flying. You will be required to have a Race Band Rx (5.8)
You will need a I-lap transponder for keeping track of lap times

Yes it’s still 10 laps because fuel management is a part of the sport. Just like Nascar and F1, you need to know how when to go wide open and when to conserve. What props will work and what will not. We will have short courses and long open courses.
League Practice Day and Race Day are mandatory.
You are require to run a HD cam and video will be upload to a Dropbox account. All individuals can use the videos. The league needs the video footage to help grow the online audience.
All race-gates will be required, you miss it, turn your ass around and go through it.

4 heats per race day. You will get to drop one race. The other 3 will be scored.
Media Position - responsible for taking video and photos for the meetup and FPV website. Will do help media questions.
Food - league cook, we like to have food at the practices and race days.
Safety and Inspections - race band check and safety when event is taking place.

General volunteers - help with setup and running the event.
